Awards go out to our OUTSTANDING Volunteers!

Mid-Cities Care Corps (MCCC) has been so blessed with the best volunteers who are willing to give of their time and talent to serve those in need and preserve the independence of our neighboring seniors.

Events like Shining Star awards and Hometown Heroes are just a small way that we honor each of our wonderful volunteers who help out in so many ways.

We are pleased to announce the winners of this year’s awards honoring just a few of these special volunteers!

Congratulations to Dave Parks, the Mid-Cities Care Corps Hometown Hero for 2021! Dave has been a volunteer and supporter since 2017. His enthusiasm and passion for the care of seniors is shown not only in his career, but to the community as a whole. Dave is truly a “Hometown Hero” to provide Help, Hope, and Healing to the seniors in NE Tarrant County!

Lisa Goodwin has been named the Mid-Cities Care Corps Shining Star for 2021! Lisa truly enjoys serving seniors in need. She is volunteering in all areas of Social Outreach and is now taking on a Visiting Friend since COVID has lifted restrictions! Thank you, Lisa, for using your hands to serve the seniors in our community!

Congratulations to Charlene Rector, the Mid-Cities Care Corps Shining Star for 2020! Charlene is a tireless and wonderful volunteer for Mid-Cities Care Corps! She is a key Social Outreach committee member responsible for organizing and planning the monthly senior luncheons as well as providing the decorations for the events. She also volunteers in the office weekly, helps train new office volunteers and supports MCCC in a variety of roles all year long. Charlene is generous with her time and talents and is greatly appreciated by our clients and everyone at MCCC.
