Our very own Cecil Driskell was awarded the 2018 “Hometown Hero” award by the Northeast Tarrant Chamber of Commerce. This annual event honors local citizens nominated for their contribution of time, efforts and talents helping to make Northeast Tarrant County a better place to live.
Cecil is a longtime supporter and valued Mid-Cities Care Corps (MCCC) board member. He was recognized for his eleven plus years of dedication to the MCCC mission. Cecil was joined on stage by Stephanie Klick, Texas House of Representatives, introduced by Colleen Coyle, WFAA Meteorologist and Larry Brown, Dallas Cowboy Super Bowl XXX MVP, presented the plaque.
Cecil’s spirit is recognized throughout the MCCC family and it was wonderful to see that spirit Cecil shares with MCCC being honored in this community setting.
