State of Texas Recognizes Mid-Cities Volunteers

Mid-Cities Care Corps volunteers were recognized by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) at the 2014 DADS Vision Awards Ceremony September 9th in Austin. This annual event  honors groups and individual volunteers who promote the importance of dignity and respect for individuals. The Vision Awards recognize individuals and groups who give their time, talents, and expertise to enrich the lives of older adults and people with disabilities. The Dignity Award: Group recognizes a volunteer group in Texas which provides exemplary service to the people they serve.

MCCC celebrates all the caring volunteers throughout our 33 years who gave of their time and talents to make a day in the life of a senior neighbor a little brighter! Your collective volunteer outreach through MCCC made this state recognition a reality. CLICK HERE FOR A SHORT VIDEO FROM THE EVENT!
